KIMBERLEY NIXON SIGNS UP FOR NEURODIVERGENT COSY CRIME SERIES
Kimberley Nixon (Fresh Meat, The Tuckers) has joined forces with Tim Clague & Danny Stack (of Nelson Nutmeg Pictures) to write and develop a neurodivergent cosy crime series. The show, called HeadCase, sees Kimberley playing a single mum who discovers a knack for solving crimes when she suspects her elderly next door neighbour has been murdered. HeadCase has been created specifically with Kimberley in order to feature a character with a neurodivergent personality in the lead. She is a passionate advocate of mental health issues, and is an ambassador for The National Autistic Society. She has recently opened up online about her struggles with OCD. HeadCase is a chance to reflect on some of her own experiences. Kimberley is also a huge crime fiction fan, and won Celebrity Mastermind on the topic of Agatha Christie. Tim and Danny directed Kimberley in the TV romcom movie, A Christmas Cottage (which premiered on Channel 5 and Paramount+ in 2023).
